Kingdoms Information
This is the place you want to be at to read up on what Kingdoms is about and how to play it
Kingdoms is a kind of mix between Factions and Towny.
You can choose to either join a existing kingdom, make your own or just be a nomad and roam around the world.
A Kingdom can be either Pacifist or Aggressor.
Now, what does THAT mean?
Pacifist:
- Can not invade other kingdoms
- Can not be invaded
- Can not PvP unless "/k pvp" is turned on
Pretty much, just peaceful playing
Aggressor:
- Can invade non-ally kingdoms
- Can be invaded
- Can PvP
- Can purchase a Kingdom Shield to protect themselves against invasions (limited time, can be broken with a Siege Cannon)
So basically... The complete opposite of a Pacifist
You can upgrade your kingdom with Guards, Turrets and more. You can that in the Nexus.
The upgrades cost RP (Resource Points). You can get those from in-game money that you earn through Jobs. You can also go in the Nexus and use the "Resource Points Converter" to convert items into Resource Points (items that does not covert will be put back into your inventory). You can also get RP by buying Extractors through the Nexus to generate RP over time
There is no REAL "end goal". The server is in the lamest terms, a Survival server where you survive with others. It just has a bit of a twist to it.
The Kingdom Power is based on the members combined power. So if one member has 20 power and another has 10, your kingdom power will be 30.
The max power per member is 20. You lose 4 power on death, no matter how you die.
The power generates over time. You get 1 power every 15 minutes.
Claiming land for your kingdom is important.
You get 3 claims per Member then 3 Claims per 20 Power.
So if you are 1 member (just yourself) and you got 20 power, you get 6 claims total.
Having a Kingdom costs money (in-game balance).
Here's is a price list of what it costs
- $25 per member
- $25 per claim
This can also be known as Kingdom Tax.
Members pay 2% of their balance once per day to your kingdom automatically. But they can also choose to deposit funds "manually" with the command "/k bank deposit <amount>"
