Gameplay Rules
MineCiv offers a flexible experience combining KingdomsX gameplay with classic survival. You may choose to build a Kingdom with others or play solo in regular survival mode. These rules ensure fair play, balanced competition, and a positive community for all players.
1. General Conduct
- Play fairly and respect others’ playstyles — whether they choose Kingdoms or Survival.
- Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics is strictly prohibited.
- Use of hacked clients, macros, or unauthorized modifications that provide unfair advantages is not allowed.
- AFK farms or automation that causes lag or server instability may be restricted or removed.
2. Kingdoms & Territory
- Players who create or join Kingdoms are responsible for defending and managing their territory.
- Claimed land using the Kingdoms system must be respected — unclaimed or wilderness land is fair game.
- Intentional griefing or harassment of new players outside of legitimate gameplay may result in penalties.
- Do not use exploits or unintended mechanics to bypass territory protections.
3. Griefing Policy
Griefing is allowed but discouraged. MineCiv aims to create a semi-competitive world where strategy and protection matter. Players are responsible for defending their bases, builds, and resources.
- Unclaimed or poorly protected areas are considered fair game for raiding.
- Griefing purely to ruin others’ enjoyment (without purpose or gain) may be reviewed by staff.
- Players are encouraged to use Kingdom protections and alliances to safeguard their builds.
4. PvP & Raiding
- PvP is enabled server-wide unless otherwise specified by event or world rules.
- Raiding is allowed within the spirit of the game — organized, strategic, and not excessively disruptive.
- Spawn camping, repeated harassment, or killing players immediately after login may lead to penalties.
- Respect neutral or peaceful players who clearly opt out of PvP (when such options are available).
5. Building & Environment
- Large redstone contraptions, farms, or automated systems must not cause excessive lag.
- No inappropriate or offensive builds (e.g., NSFW, hateful symbols, etc.).
- Do not block key public areas, roads, or community zones intentionally.
- Clean up after temporary structures or farms when possible to reduce world clutter.
6. Staff & Rule Enforcement
- Staff may remove or roll back builds that violate server performance, content, or conduct guidelines.
- All staff decisions are final — appeals can be made through the proper channels.
- Exploiting loopholes in these rules will be treated as a violation.
7. Consequences
Rule violations may result in warnings, temporary mutes, kicks, or bans depending on severity. Major offenses such as hacking, severe harassment, or repeated griefing abuse may result in permanent bans.
Discord Server Rules
